Farmers Have a Story to Tell: The Stewarts

I worked with Canadian Food Focus to create, produce and shoot two videos aimed at showcasing the importance of telling farmers stories. The concept was to play on the idea of "planting" and "raising" as farm terms while linking them to the themes that Canadian Food Focus is advocating for in the space of consumer engagement.

Nathan Jones is fantastic to work with. Not only is he a positive and knowledgeable ambassador for agriculture in our province, but his visual communications skills are second to none. Nathan was able to discern the emotion and message we wanted to convey and delivered compelling videos and photos to prove it.

    Preserving the Prairies

A project completed with the support of Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society examining the importance of agriculture in creating sustainable conservation efforts in the Canadian Prairies. The goal was to raise the profile of the important intersection of conservation and agriculture in a way that promotes conversation between two industries that are often seen as in opposition to each other. I worked alongside CPAWS and my friend Dusting Veitch to produce, shoot and edit this project.
